This Bond Project will reconstruct Main and Soledad between Pecan and Navarro. Includes pedestrian amenities and streetscape improvements as appropriate and within available funding. This is a continuation of the 2012 Bond Program project.

Project Update
Closure of Intersection at North Main Avenue & Pecan Street
Contractor E-Z Bel Construction will be closing the intersection at North Main Avenue & Pecan Street to complete utility adjustments and final striping. The closure and work will be starting at 9:00pm on Tuesday, September 24, 2024, and completing the work by 5:00am on Wednesday, September 25, 2024, with the roadway to be reopened. Please see the detour map provided. All work is weather permitting. We appreciate your patience.
- Northbound Main Avenue traffic will be detoured to eastbound Travis Street, northbound Soledad Street, westbound Martin Street, and resume to northbound Main Avenue.
- Southbound Main Avenue traffic will be detoured to westbound Martin Street, southbound Flores Street, eastbound Travis Street, and resume to southbound Main Avenue.
- Eastbound Pecan Street traffic will be detoured to southbound Flores Street, eastbound Travis Street, northbound Soledad Street, and resume to eastbound Pecan Street.
