Many respondents expressed concerns about safety, particularly regarding e-scooter riders not wearing helmets, riding on sidewalks, and disregarding traffic rules. Several mentioned frequent near-misses with pedestrians and called for clearer regulations and enforcement [e.g.. There was a strong desire for designated scooter lanes or clearer signage to separate scooters from pedestrian areas.
Parking issues were commonly cited, with complaints about scooters being left in inconvenient or hazardous locations, blocking walkways and entrances. Some suggested implementing stricter parking guidelines or designated drop-off zones [e.g. 9f8e7d6c-5b4a-3c2b-1a0e-9d8c7b6a5e4f].
A number of respondents supported e-scooters as a convenient and eco-friendly transportation option, especially for short trips and tourists. However, many emphasized the need for better education for riders about local laws and responsible use.
Comments also included suggestions for increased enforcement, such as fines for improper use or parking, and more visible police presence. Some respondents proposed limiting scooter speeds in crowded areas and restricting usage during certain hours.
Overall, the most frequent themes were safety concerns, parking problems, and the need for clearer rules and enforcement. There was a mix of support and frustration, with most respondents wanting improvements to make e-scooter use safer and more orderly for everyone.

Comments highlighted issues with scooter clutter and improper parking, with suggestions for more docking stations and better integration with public transit. A few respondents raised concerns about noise and late-night use disturbing residents [e.g..
Overall, the main themes were safety, regulation enforcement, parking management, and balancing convenience with community impact.
