Respondents most frequently emphasized the need for improved public safety, including increased police presence and better lighting in public spaces. Many also called for enhanced infrastructure maintenance, such as repairing roads, sidewalks, and addressing traffic congestion. Affordable housing and homelessness support were recurring concerns, with several participants urging the council to prioritize these issues. Environmental sustainability, including expanding green spaces and promoting clean energy, was mentioned by multiple respondents. Some highlighted the importance of community engagement and transparency in decision-making processes. A few responses [e.g. specifically requested more youth programs and recreational facilities, while others stressed the need for economic development and support for local businesses. Comments also included suggestions for improved public transportation and accessibility for seniors and people with disabilities. Overall, the dominant themes were public safety, infrastructure, housing, and environmental initiatives.
