Therapeutic Recreation and Inclusion Support Services

Virginia Beach Parks & Recreation offers specific services and programs to help enrich the lives of individuals with disabilities. Our Inclusion Support Services provides accommodations for individuals with disabilities to participate in general recreation programs.

The Therapeutic Recreation Programs are specialized, therapy-based programs we offer that serve to enhance skill development, recreation participation, and increase independence for persons living with a disability. The information collected from this survey will be used to better target our program offerings and services based on the needs of the community.
